It was a beautiful day in Cádiz today: sunny, warm and dry. In the morning, we met in front of our school, Colegio María Auxiliadora—Salesianas, before classes for our orientation of the buildings. After taking classes together, we went home for lunch and met again on the beach. In the evening we met with our guide Álvaro for a walking tour of the old city. We began our tour of the streets and history of Cádiz in the Plaza de España and wound our way through Plaza de Mina, Plaza de San Antonio, and Plaza de las Flores before finishing the walk in front of the Cathedral de la Santa Ana de Cádiz. Tomorrow we will return to the old city for a tour of the inside of the Cathedral and a scenic view of the city from the Torre de Poniente.
